UPDATE: Distance Learning Continues

Aloha KCS 'Ohana,

The Covid-19 numbers have remained relatively stable over this past week and will hopefully start to decrease in the coming days. Nevertheless, the current metrics and guidance still do not support face-to-face instruction at this moment. Consequently, we will continue with our distance learning program for the time being.

In order to provide our families and staff with ample time to plan and prepare for the potential transition to a new learning program, we have decided to set a projected date for returning to face-to-face instruction. As of today, our goal is to reopen our K-5 face-to-face and 6-12 blended programs on Tuesday, February 16. As always, we will provide updates along the way should any adjustments need to be made.

If there are any questions regarding the Department of Health's "Guidance for Schools," please review the attached document. This information is also located on our website.
