EARLY ADMIT REQUIREMENTS
The Early Admit program is an opportunity open only to those students who are in good academic standing and have the maturity to manage the rigor of college-level work. To qualify for early admit, students should:
- Have a GPA of 3.5 (for 11th and 12th graders) or 4.0 (for 10th graders) OR teacher recommendation;
- Hold a reputation among all KCS teachers of being a student who comes to class regularly, turns assignments in on time, and overall gives their best effort the majority of the time;
- On track to graduate and not credit-deficient;
- Check KCS email and Google classroom regularly;
- Be self-directed and open to the challenge of new, unfamiliar experiences;
- Place into ENG 100 or higher upon taking the EdReady Placement test;
- And successfully complete and submit the Early Admissions paperwork requirements by the assigned due date.
