Aloha KCS parents,
As we begin the enrollment process for SY 2021 – 2022, we want to alert you of the process for “Sibling Preference” should you attempt to enroll another child from your immediate family.
All current students are automatically re-enrolled for the 2021 – 2022 school year unless parents/legal guardians notify the school otherwise.
The preference policy for prospective new students has three categories and spaces are granted based on the following:
- Children or grandchildren of school founders
- Siblings of current KCS students
- Children or grandchildren of faculty/staff currently employed at KCS
Based on current enrollment, we fully expect that we will need to put siblings into a preliminary lottery, as space in many of our grade levels is very limited. All sibling applications seeking preference status must be part of the April 6th lottery. To make this lottery, a completed application must be dropped off at the school office or mailed with a March 31st or earlier, postmark. Sibling applications received after March 31st will be treated as new applicants with no preference rights.
